Music has always been my first, true love. But I’ve been fascinated by photography since I was a kid with my pink, Hanimex camera with the 110 film.
IYKYK

I loved that camera. Tragically, it was stolen from our car midway through a family holiday to Italy in 1989. I hope the thieves took some sick shots on it. Or at least, developed the film to see inside the mind of an 8yo Aussie on her first trip overseas.
Anyway, despite this early photography-induced trauma, it’s remained one of my favourite things to do. Much to my friends’ annoyance when we were at festivals and I still had my camera out past 1am. I know where the bodies are buried guys. Never forget that.
But in recent years, sweaty dancefloor tragedies have been replaced by epic landscapes. I love, love, love taking photos of wide, open spaces, and trying to capture that feeling of pure expansiveness. Freedom. Peace. Clarity.
For those of you who follow me on the Substack app, you may have seen that I’ve been sharing some more recent shots. In case you aren’t on the app and missed them, I wanted to share them with the rest of you.
